Risners Beyond Borders exists to advance the Gospel across cultures and nations. We are committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, and strengthening local churches—beyond borders.

God has called us to be His witnesses—beginning where we stand and moving outward across every border to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Through intentional discipleship, leadership development, and partnership with local churches, we equip believers and raise up leaders who will multiply the Gospel in their own communities.

This is not just a mission field—it is a calling. We invite you to pray, partner, and go with us as we follow Christ wherever He leads.

About Risners Beyond Borders

Risners Beyond Borders is a gospel-centered ministry committed to long-term discipleship, leadership development, church planting, and strengthening local churches across cultures and nations. We do not simply visit mission fields—we live among the people we serve, investing in relationships, raising up leaders, and equipping believers to multiply the Gospel in their own communities.

Our work began in Romania in 2018, where we relocated to serve faithfully on the ground. Since then, we have ministered throughout Romania—including among Romanian communities and the Roma people, one of the most marginalized groups in Europe—focusing on evangelism, discipleship, and church strengthening. By God’s grace, we have helped launch and support multiple church plants, and we remain committed to planting and strengthening biblically grounded churches wherever He opens doors.

We also serve Ukrainian refugees and partner with Ukrainian churches through care conferences, discipleship training, and leadership development during seasons of deep need.

Beyond Romania, our ministry extends throughout Europe, including Hungary, and into Africa through ongoing partnership and annual ministry work in Zambia. In the United States, we engage in preaching, teaching, youth camps, conferences, and discipleship training—mobilizing believers to live on mission wherever God places them.

Wherever God leads—across cultures, nations, and difficult boundaries—our calling remains the same: strengthen the Church, plant churches, make disciples, and advance the Gospel for the glory of Christ.

Meet our staff

Bryan Risner Founder & President

**Bryan Risner is the founder and president of Risners Beyond Borders and has devoted his life to advancing the Gospel through discipleship, leadership development, and cross-cultural missions.** He and his wife, Pam, have been married since 2003 and are the parents of three children.

Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Ministry from Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas. Before entering full-time missions, he served 14 years in law enforcement as a patrol officer and school resource officer. During that same season, he served bi-vocationally in student ministry for 14 years, developing a deep conviction for evangelism, discipleship, and equipping the next generation.

Through his work in the local church, Bryan became actively involved in evangelism training and gospel outreach, partnering with Dare 2 Share Ministries to equip believers to clearly and confidently share a biblical Gospel message. His passion is not only to proclaim the Gospel, but to train others to do the same.

Bryan and his family were first introduced to Romania through a short-term mission trip, where God began shaping a clear and undeniable calling to cross-cultural ministry. In 2018, they relocated to Romania to serve long-term, investing their lives in discipleship, church planting, and leadership development across Europe, Africa, and the United States.

Today, Bryan continues to equip leaders, strengthen churches, and mobilize believers to live on mission wherever God sends them.

Pamela Risner Co-Founder

**Pam Risner serves as co-founder of Risners Beyond Borders and has faithfully partnered in ministry alongside Bryan from the very beginning.** She holds a degree in Psychology from Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas.
Before entering full-time missions, Pam spent 16 years working in banking and finance, serving her local community in various roles, including commercial loan officer. Her background in administration, organization, and cultivating meaningful relationships continues to strengthen the ministry through wisdom, stewardship, and intentional care.
Pam served alongside Bryan in student ministry for over 14 years, investing deeply in students, families, and leaders. When their family relocated to Romania in 2018, she carried that same commitment into cross-cultural ministry—discipling women and teenage girls, mentoring young leaders, and faithfully supporting the work in every setting God opened.
**Pam has a deep heart for women’s ministry and relational discipleship, and she plays a vital role in cultivating welcoming, gospel-centered environments wherever they serve.** Her compassion, steady faith, and love for Christ are woven into every aspect of the ministry.
